Amalna Association for orphaned girls was established in June 2002 and is registered under the MOSA registration number 5063. We are a non-profit organization that takes in orphaned baby girls and provides them with a loveable caring home. We are run by a number of volunteers and hired staff with the intention of raising our girls with the best care possible.

 

At present we are fortunate to have 8 beautiful girls each with her own independent character. They are :   Fayrouz 12 August 2002   Nourhan 31 July 2002   Nahed 29 September 2002   Hoda 20 September 2002   Omneya 5 October 2002   Kholoud 9 December 2002   Nourhan 1 February 2003   Nadia 6 February 2003         All our girls are six years old now and are well settled at school. Three are in KG2 and the other five are in year one. Our girls are very lucky to have volunteers with patience that help them with their home work and studies. We also have the kind help from people that have given the girls a rich mixture of activities to help broaden their experiences in life. We have a Sheikh that comes twice a week to teach them about religion and the Koran and he also gives the supervisors twice a week as well. At present we have a music teacher that comes to teach them piano lessons once a week during school days and twice during holidays. The girls go to dance class once a week for fun and physical fitness and swimming once a week to release their energies. Twice a month we have volunteers that teach the girls manners and etiquettes through stories. It is thanks to all these people that the girls are getting a wide variety of activities to help them develop in a healthy and creative way. Fund Raising Open day For mother’s day we are having an open day bazaar. It will be held on Friday the 20th of March at our premises, from 12.00 till 6.00 pm. There will be a wide display of gifts and baked goods on sale. Come and join us on this festive day. We look forward to seeing you there. Visiting hours Due to the girls attending school, they are out all morning till 4.00 pm then they have home work till 6.00pm. If you would like to spend time with the girls it is preferable from 6.00 pm till 8.00pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. Amalna Administration is open anytime between 9.00am and 8.00 pm.
